Nestled into the hillside and overlooking the vast plains of Meru National Park lies Elsa’s Kopje, named after Elsa the lioness from the award-winning book and film ‘Born Free’. Every cottage features a large bedroom, open sitting room, verandah and a spacious bathroom, each with breathtaking views. Day and night game drives and nature walks are recommended. You can even take a rafting trip on the Tana River.  Wind down your days with a three course meal, served at candlelit tables under the stars.

Meru National Park is recognised as having more diversity in animal species than any other park in east Africa – including a thriving rhino sanctuary, large elephant herds, hippo, lion and birdlife.
