Day 2 | Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis & Fes

Waste no time today as your private driver chauffeurs you into the countryside, stopping to explore three incredible places enroute to Fes.

Enjoy local flavours at lunch in Rabat then drive to Morocco’s premier archaeological site, the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Roman ruins of Volubilis. From ruins to palaces, next stop is Meknes, fondly named the ‘Moroccan Versailles’, before reaching Fes – home for three nights.

Days 3 & 4 | Fes

A beguiling city of contrasts and contradictions, where a car free urban area sees donkeys deliver produce while visitors stumble across an Aladdin’s Cave of exotic treasures, minarets and artisans’ workplaces.

On a private tour with your guide, explore the world’s largest medina and discover architectural masterpieces. The next day there’s time to tailor your experience with a choice of activities – discover the ancient culinary techniques in a cooking class, learn the art of pottery, take a tour of the city’s lush gardens or enjoy a traditional Hammam and massage.

Day 5 | Sahara Desert (Erfoud)

Muse at the unfolding landscapes as your private chauffeur drives south towards the village of Erfoud.

Arriving into the desert oasis town of Erfoud you’ll quickly understand its attraction to filmmakers and photographers. Erfoud is your gateway to your Sahara Desert experience.

Day 6 | Sahara Desert (Merzouga)

Get set for adventure on your 4WD trip into the surreal landscapes and undulating dunes of the Sahara Desert. Discover the otherworldly terrain and marvel at the enormous dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Having reached Merzouga for a night under the stars, the bright blue sky changes from orange to pink, peach and every colour in between. Submit to the absolute peace and calm of this remote location. After dinner under the stars you’ll be ready to turn in, under the canvas and ensconced in the comfort of your luxurious tent.

Day 7 | Ouarzazate

Another day of spectacular scenery awaits on your drive to Ait Ben Haddou including a walk through the Gorges of Todra, colourful rock walls towering over a lush valley.

Roaming the kasbahs and enjoying mint tea on a terrace, at Ait Ben Haddou you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. You might even recognise the village from scenes of Gladiator or Game of Thornes. Take a short drive to your outstanding riad on the outskirts of Ouarzazate.

Day 8 | Marrakech

Dazzling Marrakech – filled with intrigue, spice and history. Surrender to the city’s charms over the next few days as you twist and turn through souks.

After a scenic drive you’ll arrive in Marrakech early this afternoon. Plenty of time to relax in your boutique riad (home) – the exemplary L’Hotel Marrakech, ideally located near Jemaa el Fna Square.

Days 9 - 11 | Marrakech

A full day is dedicated to a guided exploration including the Majorelle Gardens, Yves Sain-Laurent Museum, the Saadian Tombs, El Bahia Palace and more. Your personal guide will lead you through the bustling Djemaa El Fna square, down its narrow souks.

You’ll also have a full day of independent discovery and your options are endless. Relax with a traditional Hamman and massage; trek the Atlas Mountains; take to the skies in a hot air balloon; or delve into the markets. Ask us for other inspiring options (activities at additional cost).
